We’re excited to announce a powerful new feature in Maply — you can now edit individual territories directly on the map after uploading your data!
Why this matters
Previously, making edits to a single territory meant having to modify your Excel file and re-upload the entire dataset. That worked, but we knew it could be a hassle — especially when all you needed was a quick update to one area.
With our latest update, you can now edit individual territories right on the map, no spreadsheet edits required
How to Use It:
After uploading your data and generating your territory map, you can make quick adjustments on the fly:
- To edit a territory:
Click on the territory you’d like to change and press the pencil icon. You can update the name, color, and weight- To save your changes:
Click the Save button. - Want to cancel instead? Click Close.

- To delete a territory:
Select the territory and click the rubbish bin icon
- To add a missing territory:
Simply click on the territory area and hit the plus icon.
This feature is all about making your workflow easier. Whether you’re making quick tweaks or building your territory map from scratch, these new editing tools help you do it all without leaving the map view.
